Payment Policy
Yummy Confections, LLC schedules orders on a first come first serve basis. Orders OVER $120 can secure an calendar spot with a 50% NONREFUNDABLE deposit. Orders UNDER $120, the will require the FULL balance to secure the date. Deposits are taken to secure your event date on the calendar and used to purchase materials required for your order. Once invoice is sent out you will have 48 hours to make make payment. I try to accommodate as many orders as possible. By procrastinating on final payments this holds a spot of another order that could have been taken. We are a small shop and there is a maximum number of orders we take each week. Once those spots fill up, we cannot take on anymore. Dates tend to become booked completely 2-3 weeks in advance.. so plan early! There are times I am able to take on last minute orders. Last minute orders (orders that require lass than 7 days) will REQUIRE immediate payment along with $25 rush fee.The inquiry, design and order process takes time, so orders must be finalized and a deposit must be made (not just inquired about). Design changes WILL NOT be allowed after 3 days of the deposit. Order balances MUST be paid 5 days prior to delivery. NO EXCEPTIONS! If full payments are not made prior to 5 days of your order, it WILL BE CANCELED. I will not start an order until full payment is made. Decorated cookies require a lot of time. Some designs can take up to 3-7 hours PER dozen. All payments are made through PayPal only. I WILL NOT except cash on delivery/Cash app or any other app service. Shipping Policy
 Shipped orders require 100% of the payment. Payments can be sent via PayPal using invoice sent from yummyconfection@gmail.com. Our direct contact is (240) 435-4406. Cookies are baked, decorated, and shipped based on your event date that is provided. Please plan for your cookies to arrive 1-3 days before your event. Each cookie is made to order - no cookie is EVER pre-made!  Purchasing the cookies as early as possible does not mean that your cookies will be made any sooner :-)  It will guarantee you a spot on my calendar. When your cookies are shipped, all cookies are individually wrapped in sealed cello bags and then surrounded by packing peanuts or shredded paper for shipment. I package cookies for shipping using the safest method possible. Additional cookies are recommended for purchase in case any cookies break in transit. Yummy Confections, LLC is not responsible for breakage or bleeding of cookies while in transit. Everything has been done to secure the safety of the cookies but because I can't guarantee how the cookies will be handled by USPS or UPS, you assume all the risk. I'm unable to compensate for any cookies that are lost or damaged in shipping. No refunds will be issued. All cookies are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. APO/FPO customers, your order will be shipped USPS Priority Mail - please allow appropriate timing to order.  If you have any questions, please contact me at yummyconfection@gmail.com. Refund Policy
Due to the food nature of this product NO REFUNDS or exchanges will be accepted or any reason. Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE. Yummy Confections, LLC has held the date for your order and turned away others. Please understand that orders are scheduled on a month/week basis. This schedule allows me to fit in a certain number of orders per week/month. In the event a situation arises where you need to change the date of your event please contact the shop as soon as possible. I will do my very best to work around your new event date. If final payments are made AFTER required deposit time frame (4 days prior to event date), I HAVE the right to cancel the order, as cookies require a certain time to create.

If your item arrives damaged and is the fault of the carrier, please file a claim with the shipping carrier. Once the package leaves my facility, I am no longer responsible for any damage or delays incurred during transit.

Please be aware that each of these cookies are handmade. Because they are handmade, there might be slight variations in color or design. NO REFUNDS or exchanges after cookies have been delivered. All cookies are made to order.
PLEASE NOTE!  Yummy Confections, LLC works on a first come, first serve basis. Occasionally we can fit in last minute orders; however this is dependent completely upon our weekly schedule. You should not expect an order and be able to pick it up the next day. My calendar fills 2-3 WEEKS in advance.  PLEASE ORDER EARLY TO ENSURE YOUR DATE IS AVAILABLE!
